Wynand (1966) is an Associate Professor of Entrepreneurship at Maastricht School of Management where he teaches several Entrepreneurship courses in the MM, MSc, MBA and Executive MBA programs, both in Maastricht and abroad. He is also the Academic Coordinator of MSM’s growing portfolio of Executive Education programs. Wynand holds a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering (1989), an MSc in Business Administration from the University of Groningen (1993), and a PhD in General Management from the Rotterdam School of Management at Erasmus University (2000). Wynand co-authored several teaching cases, papers and books. He has taught entrepreneurship for more than 17 years. Many of his graduates have become successful entrepreneurs. Wynand is well connected to Dutch entrepreneurs and early stage investors. Wynand was instrumental to the successful introduction of two 60 ECTS MSc degree programs on entrepreneurship (RSM Erasmus University, KU Leuven), three 15-30 ECTS Entrepreneurship minors (Erasmus University (2 minors) and Maastricht University) and the introduction of nine Entrepreneurship courses to six non-business degree programs (Maastricht University). Wynand is keen on collaborating with ambitious entrepreneurs. For him, smallness is only but a temporary characteristic of true entrepreneurship.
